Camping Brissac

Brissac Quincé, Angers and Ponts-de-Cé are neighbors and daughters of the Loire. Between the verdant islands, the historic jewels dotted along the river, the biodiversity reigning over the countryside and the ancestral culture of the Loire Valley, Brissac Quincé, now known as the town of Brissac Loire Aubance in Maine et Loire, has many secrets to reveal. Be careful not to confuse it with the town of Brissac near the Grotte des demoiselles, the cirque de navacelles and the Pont de Saint-Étienne d'Issensac in the 34. Here, the campsite welcomes you close to the Bioparc de Doué la Fontaine, Terra Botanica and the many châteaux of the Loire Valley. From the campsite, you can easily visit the Loire Valley and its many tourist attractions. Consult each tourist office for more information, or check out the tourism section by staying on this campsite web page.

Fully equipped tents and camping pitches Brissac

Just 10 kms from the town of Brissac in the Maine et Loire region, discover an original, bucolic resort, ideal for relaxing vacations lasting several days in July and August as well as in low season, where you can live in harmony with nature. The Loire Valley stretches out its arms to you from the campsite. Slow Village invites you to take advantage of its pitches for caravans, tents or motorhomes and its atypical rentals. Large pitches planted with fruit trees on a 3-hectare site are ideal for large families or groups of 6 who want to take full advantage of a protected natural environment, without being far from lively tourist centers. Our design Lodge tents for 4 people offer single or double beds and comfortable equipment, while still playing the adventure card. Our Bivouac tents, ideal for couples seeking rest and simplicity, skilfully combine unadorned luxury with close proximity to nature.

Whether caravanning or renting at our Angers bord de loire campsite, you will of course have access to the Slow Village catering services and our lagoon pool, fed from a nearby natural pond in keeping with our eco-responsible spirit. Other services such as a bread depot and children's playground are also available on site. To reassure our fishermen friends who might have taken a dim view of the presence of a fishing pond, the Loire is teeming with fish of all kinds!

Go exploring

For a first contact with the commune, reserve your sesame for the Château de Brissac on arrival or during your first few days in July and August, as well as in low season, to ensure you visit this monument born of a blend of medieval and Renaissance styles. Still inhabited by the de Brissac family, you'll love the gardens, the mausoleum of the Dukes of Brissac and taste the wines produced by the estate. For younger visitors, don't miss the Parc de loisirs de l'Etang, which, contrary to popular belief, is not a fishing pond but a children's playground. For a small fee, you can spend as much time as you like, and they'll have unlimited access to a wide range of activities, including cycling, pony-trekking, donkey-riding, swimming, sliding, pedal-boating and trampolining.

Visit Angers to see the Château des Ducs d'Anjou and the Apocalypse tapestry. Stop off to discover arts and crafts in the medieval Maison d'Adam. In a town renowned for its gentle way of life, visit the gardens of the Arboretum. Among century-old trees from all over the world, you can relax and children can enjoy the play areas.
A surprising troglodyte village awaits you in Rochemenier. Enter the underground farmhouses, where you'll find a chapel, chicken coop and artefacts bearing witness to the village's past since the 13th century. Take the kids to the Jardin des Kangourous at La Possonnière, where the wallabies are keen to be petted and the owners are happy to enlighten you. Not far away, don't miss a visit to the Bioparc de Doué la Fontaine, a magnificent zoo that might just tempt you to adopt one or more pets. Nearby, Slow Village awaits you, where the Val de Loire eco-campsite and its riverside location will win you over!
