Tourism Goulven
At the mouth of La Flèche, the small village of Goulven is home to one of Finistère's most beautiful bell towers, sculpted in Renaissance style. Other attractions include the miraculous Saint-Goulven fountain, the Pénity chapel, which houses exhibitions, two dolmens and a listed mansion in the heart of the village. The Baie de Goulven is a protected natural site and an important ornithological reserve. Here you'll find ducks of various species, geese, egrets and spoonbills. On a Goulven camping vacation, you can take advantage of these unspoilt natural areas for wonderful family walks, hikes along the GR 34, or nature outings on the foreshore. Part of the Keremma dunes are located on Goulven territory. To discover both Goulven's built and natural heritage, a 7.5 km hiking loop marked out in green has been set up in the commune, similar to the one on the Pleumeur Bodou coast. From May to September, the little town hosts monthly flea markets, which attract large crowds. The Goulven Découverte association also organizes bay-to-bay walks between Goulven and Guissény, photo contests and concerts. A botanical trail, dotted with explanatory panels, allows visitors to discover the different environments of the Goulven area, from coastline to undergrowth, meadows and marshes.
