Biscarrosse and its network of cycle paths
Biscarrosse is an ideal destination if you like to get around by bike during your vacations, as the Vélodyssée runs right through the area between the lake and the ocean.
All the villages surrounding the Grands Lacs are linked by a network of cycle paths.
Cycle around one of the lakes, to the beach on the ocean side and to the market in Biscarrosse-bourg, or simply stroll through the pine forest: in Biscarrosse, everything can be done on a mountain bike.
There are several bike rental outlets in the area, both at the resort and in the town, as well as on the shores of Lac de Cazaux and Lac de Sanguinet.
You can rent road bikes, mountain bikes and electric bikes, as well as carriages and followers for children.

Renowned for its cycling, the Landes region, and especially the Grands Lacs area around Biscarrosse, favors soft modes of transport.
The Vélodyssée, Europe's longest cycle route, runs along the Atlantic coast from northern Brittany to the Franco-Spanish border: its route crosses the Biscarrosse area and links Arcachon to the north, Parentis to the east of the hydrobase, then the other villages of the Pays de Born, towards the Landes to the south.
