What room configuration for your seminar?

Key elements to anticipate

Organizing a seminar is no easy task. We often talk about choosing the venue, the date, the activities... But what we often forget is the importance of themeeting room layout. There are several types of configuration, each depending on the objective of your seminar. Whether it's for a presentation, a conference, a meeting or a company party (or even all in the same day), you'll needmodular spaces that are adapted to your team.

That's why Slow Village is the ideal place for your seminars! Choosing Slow Village means choosing a venue committed to reducing its environmental impact, while offering a unique experience in a natural setting, combining comfort and well-being.

1. Theater room

Very popular with large groups.

This format is perfect for seminars where the main objective is to convey information with few speakers. It's an excellent way of conveying clear messages while motivating your team.

This layout is particularly suited to our Slow Village Biscarrosse Lacwhich can accommodate up to 400 people in our amphitheater. For groups of 250, our Slow Village Saint-Martin-de-Ré close to the sea, is also ready to welcome you.

The theater layout is ideal for events such as :

  • Product launches
  • Brand presentations
  • Conferences or meetings
  • Motivational speeches

2. U-shaped room

The U-shaped layout is more suitable for groups of 10 to 50 people.

The advantage of this configuration is that each participant can see the other and interact more easily. The moderator is also centrally located, facilitating communication.

For these formats, a number of Slow Villages are available. Slow Village Biscarrosse Lac, Slow Village Saint-Martin-de-Ré are ideal for this type of event. More intimate is Slow Village Pornic, close to the sea and the city of Nantes. Slow Village Marennes Oléronat the foot of the ocean, is also ideal for seminars. Last but not least, Slow Village Anduzelocated in the heart of the Cévennes mountains, offers an exotic setting for your events.

This type of layout is perfect for:

  • Interactive presentations
  • Brainstorming
  • Training courses
  • Strategic meetings

3. Classrooms

Less conventional, the classroom layout is often recommended for workgroups of less than 80 people.

Thisschool-like configuration of back-to-back desks is ideal for focusing all attention on the speaker. Although interaction is possible, the aim is to maintain maximum concentration. It's also the most suitable layout for taking notes, whether on a computer or on paper.

Les Slow Village de Biscarrosse Lac, Saint-Martin-de-Ré, Pornic, Marennes Oléron and Anduze have modular spaces and equipment perfectly suited to this type of event.

It is frequently used for events such as

  • Training sessions
  • Presentations
  • Workshops
  • Projections

4. Meeting room

A more classic format, the meeting layout is ideal for small groups. This type of organization is often used with a large table and surrounding chairs.

The idea here is that each participant can express himself or herself freely. There's no real moderator, as everyone is on the same level. It's a more participative format, where decision-making is shared.

Our 5 Slow Villages are perfectly suited to this type of event.
